Popularity of Ukrainian football clubs and national team players

Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted a nationwide opinion poll during the period of April 21 to May 2, 2012. 1636 respondents were interviewed; the survey covered all regions of Ukraine (including the city of Kyiv) and Crimea; sample was random and representative for the population of Ukraine aged 16 years and above.

All the respondents were asked whether they were football fans. Those respondents who responded that they were "very interested" or "likely to be interested" in football, were considered to be football fans. Only these respondents participated in the follow up interviews (total number of respondents constitutes 1,636).

Theoretical error for sample consisting of 1636 respondents is 2.5%.
