Are there issues of discrimination in Ukraine?
About the half of the population think that there is no discrimination in Ukraine. Depending on the kind of discrimination, 23-32% of the population think that there is almost no discrimination, 5-10% - that discrimination of these kinds slightly appears. Only 8.8% of the population experienced discrimination over the past year.

The dynamics of the positive attitude of the population of Ukraine to Russia and the Russian population to Ukraine ("the end of the unrequited love of Ukrainians to Russia")
The number of Ukrainian people who have positive attitude towards Russia has become equal to the number of Russian who are positively related to Ukraine for the first time of observations. In all previous studies Ukrainians had better attitude to Russia than Russians to Ukraine.

Attitude to the status of the Russian language in Ukraine
Little more than a half of the Ukrainian population - 52% consider that the Russian language should be the second official language only in those territories where the most people support this idea. The idea that the Russian language should be struck off the formal communication and the idea that the Russian language should be the second official language in Ukraine support approximately equal proportion of the respondents - 21% and 19% respectively.

How do the attitude of Ukrainians to Russia and Russians to Ukraine has changed
The attitude of Ukrainians to Russia and Russians to Ukraine has become more negative for the last three months. However, the attitude of Ukrainians to Russia is still more positive than the attitude of Russians to Ukraine Compared to the September survey, the number of positively Pro-Russian Ukrainians decreased very significantly on 9% (from 48% in September to almost 37% in December). The share of negatively-minded of Ukrainians to Russia significantly increased (from 41% in September to almost 48% in December). |
