Dynamics of happiness in Ukraine

The survey showed that the level of happiness significantly decreased in the period from 2010 to 2012 and virtually unchanged in 2013. Thus in 2011, 63% of Ukrainians feel happy, in 2012 — 53% and in 2013 — 56%.

How Ukrainians plan to spend their vacations

The study found that 68% of Ukrainians do not plan to have vacation; this number has increased slightly in comparison with 2011 (66%); number of those who have no expenses to go somewhere is 21%. In 2011 this number was 23%, the difference is statistically insignificant.

Attitude of Ukrainians towards national holidays

The least popular Ukrainian official holidays – Independence Day of Ukraine (12%), Labor Day (10%) and Constitution Day (4%).

44% of Ukrainians consider sex to be an important part of their lives — social research by KIIS

Almost 5% (4,9%) of Ukrainians aged 18 and older have never tried sex. 95,1% of population of Ukraine has already had sexual relations.

These are results of survey, conducted by Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) according to the request by “Ukraine today” enterprise.

Has the improvement happened by today? (After three years have passed away)
Kiev International Institute of Sociology conducted survey during the period of February 8–20, 2013, in 110 locations in all regions of Ukraine and Crimea. 2032 respondents were interviewed; sample was random and representative for the population of Ukraine aged 18 years and older.

Statistical sampling error (with a probability of 0.95 and a design-effect of 1.5) would not exceed:
3.3% for index close to 50%
2.8% — index close to 25%
2.0% — index close to 10%
1.4% — index close to 5%.
