Following the schedule of joint project of the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) and the Levada Center (Russia), KIIS has conducted a nationwide opinion poll regarding attitude of Ukrainians towards Russia and attitude of Russia towards Ukrainian population, which was held during the period of February 8–17, 2013. 2032 respondents were interviewed; the investigation covered all regions of Ukraine, including Kiev and Crimea Region; the sample was random and is deemed to be representative for population of Ukraine aged 18 and above.

According to the results of a survey conducted by the "Rating" and KIIS  in February and March 2013, 58% of the Odessa region residents while choosing between the signing of the Association Agreement and the subsequent joining the European Union and complete participation in the Customs Union and Single Economic Space with Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, prefer Customs Union and SES, while 25% prefer the Association Agreement and subsequent entry into the EU. 18% of respondents have not decided yet.

"And if the next Sunday was a day of a referendum about who Ukraine should join - the European Union or the Union State of Belarus and Russia, how would you vote?"

Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted a nationwide opinion poll following the request of the fund "Democratic Initiatives" during the period of March 6–12, 2013.

The study found that the vast majority of the population of Ukraine, namely 76%, do not believe that Yulia Tymoshenko ordered the murder of Yeugene Scherban, 24% of respondents believe in such possibility.
