How the Ukrainians are going to spend vacations
The study showed that as of the second half of May 2017, 59% of Ukrainians do not plan to have a rest. This number decreased compared with 2016 (it was 63%). The number of those who have no opportunity to travel somewhere is 22% (in 2016 it was 25%).
Also, it should be noted that by the percentage of those who plan to go on vacation we have reached the level of the "pre-war" 2013 year.
Eating out tendencies among the residents of Ukraine
The majority of the Ukrainians eats at home. Over the past month, 29% of the adult population (48% among people under 40 years) consumed food that was prepared outside the home. Residents of Ukraine prefer "democratic” catering establishments. The leaders are cafe or bistro, which account for two-thirds of recent visits.
COMMENTARY ABOUT THE STANDARDS FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THE SOCIOLOGICAL RATINGS
It turns out that many people interpret the sociological ratings incorrectly. Dynamics of the Internet usage in Ukraine: February – March, 2016
As of the beginning of the year, 62% of adult population of Ukraine use the Internet. The partition of the Internet users amongst the population of Ukraine aged 18-39 is 91%. Senior age and living in rural areas significantly reduces the likelihood of using the Internet.
Is automobile a luxury?
“Automobile is not a luxury, it is a means of transport”, - this quote of Ostap Bender is still actual. However, in modern Ukraine the availability of such means of transport as automobile is a distant dream for many Ukrainians.The results showed that vast majority of households in Ukraine does not has cars – 74%. Only a quarter of all respondents appeared to be owners of automobile (24.5%), almost 96% of them have only one car
