Attitude of the population of Ukraine to Russia and the population of Russia to Ukraine, November 2021

The press release contains the results of a joint project of the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology and the Russian non-governmental research organization Levada - Center, which has been carried out since 2008. Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) during November 2-11, 2021, conducted its own all-Ukrainian public opinion poll "Omnibus". By the method of computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) based on a random sample of mobile telephone numbers (with random generation of telephone numbers and subsequent statistical weighing) were interviewed 2003 respondents living in all regions of Ukraine (except AR of Crimea). The sample is representative of the adult population (18 years and older) of Ukraine. The sample does not include territories that are temporarily not controlled by the authorities of Ukraine - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

In Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the survey was conducted only in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

Statistical sampling error (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account the design effect of 1.1) does not exceed: 2.4% for indicators close to 50%, 2.1% for indicators close to 25%, 1.5% - for indicators close to 10%, 1.1% - for indicators close to5%.   

 “Levada - Center”  conducted a survey  by a representative sample of the population of Russia, 1603 people aged 18 years and older, in the period from November 25 to December 1, 2021 by the method of personal interview.

The statistical error during the sample of 1603 people (with a probability of 0.95) does not exceed: 3.4% for indicators close to 50%, 2.9% - for indicators close to 25% / 75%, 2.0% - for indicators close to 10% / 90%, and 1.5% - for indicators close to 5% / 95%

Dynamics of the rating of parties in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and candidates in the elections of the President of Ukraine: results of a telephone poll conducted on December 3-11, 2021

During December 3-11, 2021, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted its own all-Ukrainian public opinion poll "Omnibus". By the method of computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers (with random generation of phone numbers and subsequent statistical weighing) were interviewed 2,000 respondents living in all regions of Ukraine (except AR of Crimea) . The sample is representative of the adult population (18 years and older) of Ukraine. The sample does not include territories that are temporarily not controlled by the authorities of Ukraine - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

In Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the poll was conducted only in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

Decentralization and local government reform: the results of the sixth wave of sociological research

The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology conducted the sixth wave of the all-Ukrainian sociological survey "Decentralization and Local Government Reform" commissioned by the Council of Europe Program "Decentralization and Public Administration Reform in Ukraine". In the course of the research, the opinions and views of adults in Ukraine (aged 18 and older) on local government reform and decentralization were studied. The survey was conducted by the method of personal (face-to-face) interviews. A total of 2,000 respondents representing the adult population of Ukraine were interviewed.

Socio-political moods of the population of Ukraine: current political events according to the results of a telephone survey conducted on November 26-29, 2021

On November 26-29, 2021, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted an all-Ukrainian public opinion poll. By the method of computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) based on a random sample of mobile telephone numbers (with random generation of telephone numbers and subsequent statistical weighing) were interviewed 1203 respondents living in all regions of Ukraine (except AR of Crimea). The sample is representative of the adult population (18 years and older) of Ukraine. The sample does not include territories that are temporarily not controlled by the authorities of Ukraine - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, some districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

In Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the poll was conducted only in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

The statistical error of the sample (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account the design effect of 1.1) does not exceed: 3.2% for indicators close to 50%, 2.7% for indicators close to 25%, 2.1% - for indicators close to 12%, 1.4% - for indicators close to 5%.

Socio-political moods of the population of Ukraine: the results of a survey conducted on October 25-29, 2021 by the method of personal ("face-to-face") interviews

On October 25-29, 2021, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted an all-Ukrainian public opinion poll. By the method of personal (“face-to-face”) interview using a tablet (CAPI, computer-assisted personal interviews)  2028 respondents living in 103 settlements of all regions of Ukraine (except the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) were interviewed by a 3-stage stochastic sample with quota selection at the last stage, which is representative of the population of Ukraine over 18 years of age.

In Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the survey was conducted only in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

The statistical error of the sample (with a probability of 0.95 and a design effect of 1.5) does not exceed: 3.3% for indicators close to 50%, 2.9% - for indicators close to 25%, 2.2% - for indicators close to 12%, 1.5% - for indicators close to 5%.

 

The first wave of the survey was conducted on June 22-29, 2021 according to the same methodology, and the second wave was conducted on July 24-August 1. Where relevant, the dynamics of indicators during June-October 2021 are given.
