SELF-ASSESSMENT OF HEALTH BY UKRAINIAN POPULATION

In May 2015 40,5% of questioned adults rated their health as good or even very good, which twice exceeds the corresponding figure of 2001 (19.2%). Meanwhile, there is a reduction of those who negatively assesses their health: from 31.4% in the year 2001 to 17.7% in 2015.

Self-happiness (May 2015)

Despite all the problems and difficulties, the majority of Ukrainian society is optimistic. According to the results of survey conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology in May 2015, 57% of residents of Ukraine feel themselves happy, 22% feel partly happy, partly unhappy, and 17% unhappy of rather unhappy.

How do Ukrainians are going to take a rest

The study showed that 68% of Ukrainians didn’t plan to take a rest (accordance to survey data of May, 2015). This number increased in comparison with 2014 (there ewe62%). The number of those who are not able to go somewhere is 24%. There were 17% in 2014, the difference is statistically significant.

Which Christmas gifts do Ukrainians want to get?

On the eve of New Year holidays the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) decided to find out what Christmas gifts are popular among Ukrainians and to simplify the execution of a task of choosing gifts for family and friends.

According to the survey results, the first 6 gifts which Ukrainians would like to receive are money, peace and ending of the war, car and car accessories, jewelry, romantic travel and household appliances.
