November 20, 2014 an open panel discussion «Poverty in Ukraine: new challenges, risks and trends» was held in the conference hall of the Institute of Demography and Social Studies named after M. V. Ptukha of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences.

Institute of Demography and Social Studies named after M.V. Ptukha of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences together with the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine initiate a series of events to discuss issues related to the emergence of new forms of the poverty in Ukraine. To participate in the discussion invited officials, scientists and leading experts on poverty.

November 20, 2014 Razumkov Centre held a professional discussion on the topic «The middle class in Ukraine: sociological portrait». The event was carried out as part of the research project of the Center Razumkov «The middle class in Ukraine: the social structure, life values, readiness for the association and the promotion of democratic standards»

The discussion was attended by Director General Vladimir KIIS Paniotto.
