National exit-poll will be conducted on the 26^th of October 2014, the day of the elections to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, by the Consortium “National exit-poll 2014”, which includes Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) and Alexander Razumkov Centre for Economic and Political Studies.

If the elections to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine through the majority system took place in the middle of October, the following results for the population of the district aged 18 and above would be observed 25,6% would vote for the candidate from the political party “Block of Petro Poroshenko” – O. Shevchenko; 12,6% - for the candidate from the Ukrainian Union "Svoboda" – A. Grymaliuk; 12,6% - for the candidate from the political party “Syla liudey” – P. Shkutyak; 4,8% - for the candidate from the political party “Samopomich” – V. Druk...

Volodymyr I. Paniotto, General Director of KIIS, is commenting the results of public opinion polls: “Since 2005 there was a significant decrease in the percentage of Russians with a positive attitude towards Ukraine. At the same time in Ukraine the level of positive attitudes towards Russia was permanently about 90% - even the war in Georgia did not affect it”.

The mutual attitude got worse over the past three months. However, the attitude of Ukrainians to Russia is still more positive than the attitude of Russians to Ukraine. Comparing to the May survey the amount of positively minded Ukrainians fell slightly (from 52% in May to 48%  in September). The proportion of negatively minded Ukrainians increased also slightly (from 38% to 41%).

Якби вибори до Верховної Ради України за мажоритарною системою відбувалися наприкінці вересня, то з усіх жителів округу віком від 18 років серед запропонованого списку кандидатів 26,5%  проголосували б за кандидата від партії «Блок Петра Порошенка» Є. Рибчинського, 6,9% – за кандидата від Всеукраїнського об’єднання «Батьківщина» С. Терьохіна...
