Impression of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Ukraine (September 2015)

Among other questions citizens of Ukraine were asked three questions concerning the impression of our University.

The first question «Have you ever heard anything about National University of «Kyiv-Mohyla Academy?» was asked to clarify the prevalence in Ukraine of the information about our University.

The results of the survey showed that more than two thirds of the adult population of Ukraine heard something about Kyiv-Mohyla Academy

What path of integration should Ukraine choose: European Union, Customs Union

The majority of Ukrainians prefer course toward European integration to joining the Customs Union: if the referendums on the country's accession to the EU or the Customs Union were held in September 2015, about 46% of Ukrainians would vote for Ukraine's accession to the European Union, and only 18% - for accession to the Eurasian Customs Union.

The activity of human rights defenders in Ukraine: September 2015

During 2015 the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) at the request of client conducted All–Ukrainian poll concerning activity of human rights defenders. Three surveys were conducted: by the method of personal interview in respondents' households; by the method of telephone interview using a computer (CATI); the survey by the method of online interview.

The dynamics of the positive attitude of the population of Ukraine to Russia and the Russian population to Ukraine ("the end of the unrequited love of Ukrainians to Russia")

The number of Ukrainian people who have positive attitude towards Russia has become equal to the number of Russian who are positively related to Ukraine for the first time of observations. In all previous studies Ukrainians had better attitude to Russia than Russians to Ukraine.

Socio-political situation in Ukraine: September 2015

Petro Poroshenko Bloc and All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland"( Batkivshchyna) are at the top of pre-election rating for parliamentary and local elections, followed by Self-Reliance party (“Samopomich”) and Opposition Bloc.

After the parliamentary election in October 2014, the party whose rating has dropped the most is the Peoples' Front (“Narodnyi front”). The ratings of Petro Poroshenko Bloc and Self-Reliance party raised first and then slightly dropped and returned to the level of 2014 parliamentary election. The rating of Fatherland has declined compared with July 2015 but is significantly higher in comparison with the 2014 elections.
