Stressful situations in the lives of the ukrainians, 2018
According to a recent KIIS study, 52% of those polled experienced some sort of stressful situation. Compared to 2017, the number of such situations has not changed significantly (it was 53% in 2017). There is a decrease in the total proportion of respondents who felt helpless and lost faith in themselves (17 percentage points in 2018 versus 21 percentage points in 2017), as well as in the proportion of those who lost their job and found themselves without livelihood (11 percent points versus 15 percentage points respectively). At the same time, the share of people who experienced other stressful situations decreased by three percentage points, that is from 16 in 2017 to 13 in 2018.

Socio-political intentions of the population of Ukraine: January-February 2019
Preliminary comments of Anton Hrushetskyi, KIIS Deputy Head, on candidates ratings: At the time of the poll, the final list of candidates was not yet known. Therefore, the respondents were offered a list of 36 candidates, that included all the major candidates so that the list is as close as possible to the one finally registered. However, the differences between the lists may have some influence.

Думки і погляди жителів м. Київ: січень-лютий 2019 року
52,5% опитаних киян вважають, що в Україні справи йдуть у неправильному напрямку, 42,9% – що у правильному напрямку. Ще 4,6% респондентів не змогли або відмовилися відповідати на запитання;
На аналогічне запитання щодо справ у Києві 47,2% респондентів відповіли, що справи в місті в цілому йдуть у неправильному напрямку, 46,6% – що у правильному напрямку. Ще 6,1% респондентів не змогли або відмовилися відповідати на запитання.

Social protest actions
According to polls conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, in December 2018, 44% of adult Ukrainians were ready to take part in protest actions. Compared to previous years, the level of readiness to participate in social protests, at first, increased from 43% in December 2014 to 49% in December 2016, then decreased to 40% in December 2017, and equaled 44% in December 2018. At the same time, the proportion of those who said they were not ready to take part in any mass protests was 53% in 2017, and 49% in 2018.

Dynamics of the attitude of the population of Ukraine towards sociological surveys, October 2018
The poll conducted in October 2018 showed that 43% of respondents trust the data of sociological organizations that have been operating for a long time already, 20% - do not trust, others do not have an opinion about this. The level of trust to these sociological surveys has decreased by 4 percentage points over the last year (from 47% in 2017 to 43% in 2018). The balance of trust and mistrust (the percentage of those who trust minus the percentage of those who do not trust) is + 23% (it was + 36% in 2016 and 2017).
