Support of the recognition of OUN-UPA as participants of struggle for the state independence of Ukraine
Since 2015, members of the OUN-UPA (Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists – Ukrainian Insurgent Army) have been maintaining the status of fighters for the independence of Ukraine in the twentieth century. Among the adult population of Ukraine, 41% of polled support or rather support such recognition, 27% - rather against or against it, 26% of respondents had difficulty answering this question and 6% refused to respond to it at all.

Geopolitical orientations and attitude of the residents of Ukraine to the independence of Ukraine
Over the past year, support for the independence of Ukraine among the population has intensified: if the referendum on Ukraine's independence had been held in May 2017, 90% of those who expressed their readiness to participate in such a referendum would have voted for an act of independence, 10% would have voted against it. Compared to February 2017, the readiness of the population to vote for Ukraine's accession to the EU increased: if the referendum on EU membership had been held in May 2017, 69% of the votes would have been given to the EU, 31% - against.

Self-assessment of the state of health by the population of Ukraine
Kyiv International Institute of Sociology monitors the dynamics of self-assessment of the state of health among the Ukrainians since 1995. Survey data show that over the past two years, the state of health of Ukrainian residents remains virtually unchanged: research records neither improvement nor a statistically significant deterioration in how the Ukrainians assess their own health compared with data from 2015. |
