On November 15, 2015, during the day of the second round of elections of mayors where the second voting was appointed the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) at the request of Television News Service (TV channel «1 + 1») would hold an 2015. The exit-poll will take place in seven cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhe, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lutsk, Lvov, Pavlograd.

The main purpose of the project is to ensure effective public control over the transparency of the election procedure and to receive information about the socio-demographic structure of the electorate of candidates.

During the survey the methodology of «secret ballot» will be applied because it reduces the number of refusals and considerably increases reliability of the exit poll data. The essence of the method is that during the survey instead of the direct question – «Tell me please, whom did you vote for?»  – respondent fills in the questionnaire himself beginning with this question. In addition, the questionnaire will include questions about gender, age group, education, and the time for deciding whom to vote for.

In this case, the respondent will be asked to fill in a demographic questionnaire, but it will note that it is not obligatory.

The exit poll sample consists of electors who voted at polling stations on the territory of the city and will be representative for each separately taken city as a whole.

The first preliminary results of the exit poll will be announced in the evening of November 15 at TSN.ua and KIIS site and will be updated according to the data processing rate.
