The political orientation of Kyiv citizens

The survey showed that Kiev citizens are not satisfied with the situation in the city and with activities provided by the Head of the Kiev City State Administration. Thus, 61% of Kiev residents believe that management of the capital of Ukraine takes the wrong direction in their activities, including 34% of residents who are sure in the statement above. 56% of Kiev citizens are not satisfied with Head’s of the Kiev City State Administration activities, including 32% of respondents totally unsatisfied.

Dynamics of Ukraine’s attitude toward Russia and Russian population’s attitude toward Ukraine

The majority of respondents both from Russia and Ukraine would like to see both countries independent but friendly states with open borders without visas and customs (in Ukraine — 72%, in Russia — 58%). In Ukraine, the number of the supporters of the idea above has decreased from February by 4%, in Russia — by 6%.

Thoughts of the population of Ukraine on the Customs Union and European Union

36% of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine needs to focus its development on joining the Customs Union with Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan; 33% of respondents consider that our country should join the European Union. 18% of respondents support the position that Ukraine should maintain its independence and sovereignty in political and economic decision-making, without joining the EU and the Customs Union. 13% of respondents did not identify with their position on this issue.

Electoral intentions of voters of Ukraine in late May
Vitali Klitschko has increased his electoral support in comparison with June 2012 — 7%; and Oleg Tiagnybok did the same — 3%.

How Ukrainians plan to spend their vacations

The study found that 68% of Ukrainians do not plan to have vacation; this number has increased slightly in comparison with 2011 (66%); number of those who have no expenses to go somewhere is 21%. In 2011 this number was 23%, the difference is statistically insignificant.
