V. Paniotto: "Propaganda shape public opinion, and the government relies on this artificially created, but sincere opinion to justify all their actions. Russians managed because they are under the pressure of brutal propaganda, where all media are homogeneous and do not differ in the installation. Few citizens who are trying to find other sources of information themselves, immediately become the traitors in the eyes of society. Therefore, many dissidents simply silent for reasons of personal safety."

Електоральні наміри виборців України
Під час опитування респондентам пропонувалися 13 різних можливих списків кандидатів на посаду Президента і вивчалися їхні електоральні наміри. У всіх списках були присутні такі політичні діячі: А. Гриценко, В. Кличко, В. Медведчук, П. Порошенко, П. Симоненко, Ю. Тимошенко, О. Тягнибок. Також в кожному з 13 списків був представлений один з таких політичних діячів: С. Тігіпко, О. Вілкул, М. Добкін, Р. Ахметов, Н. Шуфрич, М. Азаров, Д. Табачник, А. Герман, Ю. Бойко, Р. Богатирьова, В. Рибак, І. Акімова, О. Єфремов. Респондентам не вказувалася партійна належність можливих кандидатів на посаду Президента України.

How relations between Ukraine and Russia should look like? Public opinion polls’ results
In Ukraine, as well as in Russia majority of respondents wants both countries to be independent, but friendly - with open borders, without visas and customs houses (in Ukraine – 68%, in Russia – 59%). In Ukraine with numbers have decreased since November, 2013 by 5%, in Russia – increased by 4%. |
