On March 25, 2021, an online presentation of the results of an international research "Understanding masculinity and gender equality in the security sector of Ukraine" took place.Representatives of KIIS participated in the development of research methodology and questionnaire, data collection among employees of three units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (National Police, National Guard and State Border Guard Service of Ukraine), data processing and analysis of research results.

On March 20, 2021, at the age of 92, a well-known American sociologist, former president of the American Sociological Association, honorary professor of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and our (mine and Valerii Khmelko) great friend Melvin Lester Cohn passed away. Very, very sad.

The first three gifts that women expect - flowers (18%), care and attention (16%), romantic trip (13%). Next in terms of women's expectations are jewelry (5%), romantic dinner (4%) and perfumes or cosmetics (4%). As we can see, the old slogan "book - the best gift" has lost its relevance, the book is one of the last places in the entire period of measurement (since 2009).
