On November 15, 2020, the day of the second round of the mayoral election, the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) held an exit poll in Odesa. The general set of exit poll is voters who voted at polling stations in the city of Odesa (except for special polling stations - hospitals, prisons, military units, etc.). The sample is representative of the city as a whole. As of 5 pm, 1,780 respondents were polled at 40 polling stations. The method of "secret ballot" was used. The reach rate (the number of voters who agreed to take part in the poll) is 66.6%. The sampling error should not exceed 3-4%.

"I gave interview about the President's poll again. I want to say that, in principle, I like Zelenskyi's idea to conduct regular public opinion polls and even like the idea of conducting these polls during the elections, it is common practice (for example, I accidentally learned that in Los Angeles the Presidential election had another 10-12 questions about various urban issues). Therefore, the criticism in my interview concerns only this poll, and not the idea at all"

From October 17 to 24, 2020, KIIS conducted a CATI (computer-assisted telephone interviews) survey based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers. The aim of the research was to study the domestic and foreign policy orientations of the citizens of Ukraine and to find out the current presidential and party ratings.

The sample is representative for the adult population (18 years and older) of Ukraine. The sample does not include territories that are temporarily not controlled by the authorities of Ukraine - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. 1502 interviews were conducted during the survey. The statistical error of the sample (with a probability of 0.95 and without taking into account the design effect) does not exceed: 2.6% for indicators close to 50%, 2.2% - for indicators close to 25%, 1.7% - for indicators close to 10%, 1.1% - for indicators close to 5%.

The reach rate (the number of voters who agreed to take part in the poll) is 61%. The sampling error should not exceed 2.5-3%.
