Humanitarian map of Donbas. The results of the next wave of research.

On December, 15, the results of last wave of research of the Kiev International Institute of sociology (KIIS) at the commission of the humanitarian center ««Aid+Help»» of Rinat Akhmetov regarding the needs of population of Donbas «Humanitarian map of Donbas» was presented.

The presentation was attended by the General Director of the Kiev International Institute of sociology, Vladimir Paniotto, Executive Director of the Kiev International Institute of sociology, Natalia Kharchenko and employee of the Kiev International Institute of sociology, Darina Pirogova.

On November, 25 at the press center of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was held a presentation of the results of the Kiev International Institute conducted at the commission of the Council of Europe and in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development «Decentralization and local government reform».

The Kiev International Institute of sociology (KIIS) has started preparation to conduct repeated large-scale international comparative study of tobacco consumption of the adult Ukrainian population – Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS)

This study initiated by the Ministry of health of Ukraine and is being conducted with technical and methodological support from the World Health Organization and the Centers for control and prevention of diseases (USA) with financial support of Fund of Michael Bloomberg. Studies in all countries are conducted according to standardized methodology using comparable instrumentation.

The data exit-poll 2015 regarding the voting results of voters of 7 cities where the second round of elections of mayors was appointed on November 2015 at 20:00

On November 15, 2015, during the day of the second round of elections of mayors where the second voting was appointed the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) at the request of Television News Service (TV channel «1 + 1») conducted an exit-poll 2015. The exit-poll took place in seven cities of Ukraine: Kiev, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporozhe, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Lviv, Pavlograd.

The main purpose of the project is to ensure effective public control over the transparency of the election procedure and to receive information about the socio-demographic structure of the electorate of candidates.
