November 20, 2014 an open panel discussion «Poverty in Ukraine: new challenges, risks and trends» was held in the conference hall of the Institute of Demography and Social Studies named after M. V. Ptukha of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences.

Ptukha of Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences together with the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine initiate a series of events to discuss issues related to the emergence of new forms of the poverty in Ukraine.
