Among reasons, which made people came out to the Maidan, three the most widespread were: brutal beating of demonstrators at the Maidan on November, 30 night, repressions (70%), Viktor Yanukovych refusal to sigh the Association Agreement with the EU (53.5%) and desire to change life in Ukraine (50%).

On the question "In which social protest actions would you be willing to participate?» it was received the following answers: 56 percent - answered that they are not ready to participate in any mass protests, 22 percent - couldn’t answer, 22 percent - answered that they are ready to take part in social protest, in particular

Through the research of Omnibus which was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) tracks the dynamics of self-assessment of health by Ukrainian population Ukraine since 1995. For a long time we noted a deterioration of self-assessment. However, from the beginning of the 2000-s there is a gradual increase in the proportion of positive answers to this question.

In November 2013, 38.8% of questioned said that their health good or very good. It is twice higher than in 2001 (19%). In parallel, there is a reduction in the proportion of those who negatively assess the state of their health: from 31.4 percent in 2001 year to 17.7 percent in 2013.

Якби президентські вибори проходили у середині листопада цього року, і в бюлетень для голосування не була включена Юлія Тимошенко, то з усіх громадян України віком від 18 років були готові проголосувати –  

• за Віктора Януковича – 17%,
• за Віталія Кличка –  16%,
• за Арсенія Яценюка – 8%,
• за Петра Симоненка – 6%,
• за Олега Тягнибока – 4% .

Якби вибори до Верховної Ради проходили у середині листопада 2013 року, найбільше прихильників серед виборців України  мали б такі партії та блоки:

•  Партія Регіонів (16%), ПП «УДАР» Віталя Кличка (14%) та ВО «Батьківщина» (10%)
• Наступні два місця посідають Комуністична партія України (7%) та ВО «Свобода» (5%)

Інші політичні партії мають менше 2% прихильників.
